The Martin Working Cowhorse
saddle is highly versatile and often used in reining and cutting
events as well. Ridden by top professionals like Don
Murphy, the saddle has a narrow seat for a close contact feel.
A slight rise to the front of the swells prevents you from
jamming to the front of the saddle during sharp, fast turns down
the fence. The seat has a forgiving pocket, allowing you
to float in a balanced position during aggressive maneuvers
working a cow in competition or on the ranch. The front of
the saddle is lower to prevent interference with your hands.
Fenders are designed to swing freely, helping you establish
position to move the horse forward after a cow or get back into
the seat pocket during sliding stops and turns.
Available with two horn
options:

#9 Horn
Texas Dally Horn
1. The Texas
Dally horn has a 2" cap that lets you dally when you are roping,
but is small enough to hold when cutting.
2. The #9 horn is
strong enough for light roping, but better suited for training,
cutting, or working a cow.
